| There are always inherent risks with using your credit card on-line. We try and minimize this risk on our end by using a secure trusted payment gateway, Direct Payment Solutions. If you are uncomfortable with using your credit card online, you can always pay through bank transfer. |

| How do I create a customer account? |
| You can create a new account by going to the Login / New link and the top, and register an account there. Just fill in all the required details and press register! |
| If my customer details change, how do I let you know? |
| You can update your details by going into the Personal Details section of the My Account page. Click Edit My Details, and you can edit all of your account details from here. |
| What do I do if I forget my password? |
| When you enter a wrong password into the login box, a forgotten password form should appear. You can enter your email address into the new field, and press reset. A new password will be sent to your inbox very shortly. |
| How do I change my default Password? |
Here are the steps to change the default, auto generated password that you recieve when you create a new account on the PBTech website.
Step 1:
Go to My Account and Login (this is found at the top, right hand side of the main page.

| How do I get to the checkout? |
| To get to the checkout, you must have at least one item inside your basket. If so you can just click the View / Checkout link to view the checkout page. |
Product Filter |
| What is the Product Filter? |
| The product filter is here to help you find what product fits your requirements. Just select your options from the select boxes, and press apply. |
| Can the Product Filter be used successively to further refine the search? |
| Yes, you can just change the filter options and press apply. |
| What is the within button next to the search button? |
| This allows you to search within your current set of results, such as the category you are viewing, or your search results.
You can keep searching within, to narrow the results down as far as you wish. If you click on the [x] above the search term, the search will stop looking for that term. |

| What is an OEM product? |
| OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer, these products usually come without any extras that normally come with the retail package. OEM products are only available for purchase with a computer system. |
| Can I split up bundled products? |
| Unfortunately, no. Bundled products must be bought together. |
| Making changes to WKSPB Hardware (PB prebuilt PC) |

"Can I swap out parts and/or change/remove Operating systems in a PBTech PC"

| Can I get XP put on a PB machine? |
| No. Windows XP is no longer available |
| How do I write a review on products? |
To write a review, just head to the "Reviews" tab when viewing a product, and just start typing in the space provided!
Once you have finishing writing your review, you just hit the "Submit Review" button.
Please note that our moderators will just check over your review for appropriateness before displaying your review for all to see.
If you wish to be included in the Product Review draw, please make sure you are logged in while you enter your review to be counted. |
Ordering |
| How do I buy online from PB Tech? |
| After selecting a product you wish to purchase, click on the “Buy” button, and the product will be added to your shopping cart. You can either continue to add products to your cart or click the “View / Checkout” button if you wish to purchase the items in your cart. Confirm your details and press “Checkout.” If you have an account and you are not logged in, logging in will automatically fill in all the checkout details. Double check your payment type and delivery area, then press “Proceed to Review and Pay.” After we confirm payment we will courier the purchased your order to you! |
| Do I have to create an account before I can make a purchase? |
| If you do not already have an account, we will automatically create an account for you from the details you have entered at the checkout stage of the order. We will email your new password to you. We recommend you log in and change your password as soon as possible. |
| What if I change my mind after I have selected a product but before I finalise my order at the checkout? |
| You can remove the product from the shopping cart by clicking on the remove button, next to the total of the item, inside checkout. Another way is to change the quantity of the item to 0. |
| How do I cancel an order once it has been submitted? |
| Before payment, you may cancel orders inside "My Account" -> "View Orders". After payment you must contact us on (09)5269200 and ask for Web Orders. |
| Can I order something and have it delivered to someone else? |
| No, if you pay by credit card - due to security checks.
Otherwise, yes you can type in their name and address during the checkout phase of the order. |
| Can I come in and pick up the goods and pay over the counter? |
Yes, from the Penrose branch only as this is the Hub for all of our web transactions, so your order will be processed and goods kept there. | We currently only accept Visa, Mastercard and Amex (We only accept New Zealand issued cards only.) |
| Can I do Layby? |
| PBTech does not offer a layby option. However there are finance options available. For more details call 095269200 |

Delivery |
| How much is freight? |
Please put the items in your basket, and view the basket, changing your delivery area. This will calculate your delivery fee.

| Can I find out the status of my order from this web site? |
| Yes, from the View Orders page inside My Accounts, just click on your order, and you should see all the information on your order. If the delivery status is “Delivering” then you should also be able to track your order by clicking on the "track" link. |
| I received the items I ordered but where is the invoice and paperwork? |
You should receive an invoice with the goods.
You can view the pdf of your invoice by clicking on the pdf link inside the View Orders page inside My Accounts. |
| Do you ship outside New Zealand? |
| No, please contact us directly to discuss possible terms. |
Returns and Feedback |
| Does PB Tech accept returns or give refunds? |
| Yes, if the goods are faulty or damaged in compliance with the Consumer Guarantees Act. If you have simply changed your mind or purchased incorrectly then no, we will not accept a return or give a refund. |
| Does PB Tech provide exchanges? |
| Yes, we may be able to provide an exchange only if the product is in original condition and it is returned with in 7 days of delivery. All product contents must be accounted for and the packaging must be also be undamaged. |
| Can I cancel my order? |
If you have not paid, you can request to cancel your order through the "View Orders" page inside "My Accounts." Just click on "normal" view and return. You can cancel individual parts of your order in the same way.
If you have paid, you must contact us(Penrose Branch Web Orders) as soon as possible. Even then the goods may have already left. |
| What is a restocking fee? |
| If a return is negotiated, then there is a handling fee worth 20% of the goods value. Delivery, service and assembly fees are not refunded at all. |
| How do I arrange for an item to be returned? |
| Contact the web sales person at Penrose Branch to arrange servicing or return of a faulty item. |
| What if I have a comment or complaint about your service? |
