The hybrid tuner supports both analog and digital over the air broadcasts and Clear QAM digital cable. There is also an FM radio tuner that you can control with the downloadable Vista Sidebar Gadget.

The advanced H.264 recording software lets you re-size videos down to 320x240 so you can watch them on a portable media player. There is also support for HDTV broadcasts up to 720p/1080i resolution.
