What are the Best Gaming PC cases? Well, it's complicated but luckily for us all we've been pretty busy checking out the largest range of PC Cases available today, and even busier watching friends build some of the coolest Gaming PC's with them. All this building has resulted in our assembly team finding some really exceptional chassis options, and from these favourites amongst the new range, we bring you our latest Top 10 Gaming PC Cases!
For this list, we’ve focused on the mid-sized gaming PC chassis options, excluding those that fall into the smaller mATX and ITX chassis as these deserve a top 10 all to themselves :)
Our list focuses on best value mixed in with a top-notch building experience - so let's get started!
Starting our list off with the current favourite, both in terms of the high quantity that get purchased by customers, and how much fun it is to actually build with - the exceptional Phanteks P400A!
The Phanteks Eclipse P400A breathes performance with its full metal mesh front panel. Thanks to engineering improvements we have been able to create an Ultra-Fine Performance Mesh that brings the best possible performance while keeping dust from entering the system.
The Phanteks P400A is super popular worldwide, and there's newer, smaller version named the P300A too that's incredibly good too...
NEW! Coming in at number #2 is the latest version of Cooler Master H500, it's a ridiculously good-looking chassis available at a great price - a serious contender for the #1 spot on this list. With a tempered glass side panel and 2x massive 200mm RGB fans included it's one of those cases that makes any build look great - but it's also got a special feature that lets you adjust the style of the chassis, you can switch between the mesh front panel for optimized airflow or the transparent panel for glorious aesthetics!
Being a member of the prestigious MasterCase series the build quality is, of course, utterly excellent, so if you're looking for a case that looks amazing and has incredible airflow performance.
Next up is the stunning new version of NZXT H510. The H510 compact ATX mid-tower is perfect for an understated, yet powerful build.
Our new lineup still features the elements builders loved in the original H Series, including our patented cable management system, removable fan/radiator mounting brackets, and easy-to-use drive trays, alongside new updates like a front-panel USB-C connector supporting high-speed USB 3.1 Gen 2 devices, a tempered glass side panel that installs with a single thumbscrew, and an upgraded Smart Device V2 on the H510i.
The H510 in black is just a part of a great series, with more colours and event CRFT custom skinned options available too!
The Corsair 275R caught us a bit by surprise, with a beautiful tempered glass side panel that has black edges, framing the view of the components within your system. Having built so many customs in this one now we totally get the appeal, the clean lines and styling make this chassis ideal for the office, or the gaming lounge.
Although in-expensive the case is sturdy and well constructed throughout. Classy indeed, the Corsair 275R is available now and just a part of the new range available in our new Corsair Store, some of the new options are simply brilliant!
Next up we have performance-focused, yet great looking, Lian Li O11 Dynamic. The Lian Li O11 Dynamic is extremely popular around the world and with good reason, builds using it are a stunning combination of modern design and art.
Through years of researching, collecting feedback and redesigning; Lian Li has successfully crafted the best edition of the dual chamber chassis. Experience the full view seamless front and side tempered glasses like a showroom. The angled motherboard tray and the back cable management bar conceal and exclude any cable mess.
Looking for a high-quality dual-chamber case to build in? Check out the Lian Li O11 Dynamic for sure.
Part of the new Corsair iCUE series of PC cases with aRGB fans included, this beautiful 465X is a mid-tower that offers brilliant software-controlled lighting out of the box with three LL120 RGB fans and two tempered glass panels.
Inside the chassis is an iCUE Lighting Node CORE which can control up to six RGB fans without the need for an addtional fan hub, brilliant if you're thinking adding a rear fan and two more up top on water cooling setup - which of course you are!
Made from durable steel it's built solid, and those tempered glass panels have large ventilation gaps so the airflow allows for some very high end components to be housed within.
The Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV X chassis is a new design that gives us great looks and airflow within a solid chassis. It's the modern upgrade to the popular EVOLV series, bringing with it glorious RGB lighting and a TYPE-C front USB port.
The interior is designed in such a way that no space is lost, providing you with the ultimate flexibility to customize your desired configuration. Whether it’s a high-end water cooling showcase, professional data storage system or even a dual-system PC, the Evolv X has got you covered while keeping a mid-tower form-factor.
Check out this and more in the Phanteks Store today!
This case is somewhat special, providing an affordable option in to the world of great looking RGB performance gaming chassis!
This case has excellent airflow due to the large intakes on each side of the front panel and the way those fans within have been mounted back a little from these intakes, providing the gap needed for them to be super effective. Additional ventilation on the top panel adds thermal support. 3x 120mm RGB LED fans come pre-installed in the front to create beautiful lighting effects.
It's important to note that these aren't the addressable RGB fans, so you'll only need a 3pin RGB header on your motherboard for software controls if you're wanting to set things up that way, an RGB controller is also included in the accessory pack if your motherboard does not support the RGB control function, you can even connect the RESET button and control the RGB lighting directly from the I/O panel!
The side panel bracket hinges on an angle during removal, while two "captive" screws are held in place with rubber so they are not misplaced, nicely done Cooler Master.
It's elegant, and performance is top-notch in terms of both noise and temperature with its unique design. The design of the panels inhibit noise while 2x200mm fans move comparatively larger volumes of air than smaller fans in a lower RPM and can operate even quieter by manually controlling the fan speed slider found on the I/O panel. The top and front of the case are clad in anodized aluminium with a smooth sand-blasted finish for a stunning look and feel. Be wary though, much like the C700M below you'll need to pair this SL600M chassis with a motherboard that has 2x internal USB 3.0 + 1x 3.1 headers - but such is life when you're working with the best!
The SL600M Chassis is strong, sleek and available now!
It's unusual to find such an affordable chassis on a list like this but Gigbayte have done such a good job with their C200 chassis it's well deserving of the spot!
Black inside and out, the C200 brings us that simple boxey design we love, with a nice vent design on the side. A dash of prismatic styling up top pops just right, while a subtle lightbar just below adds more for that custom gaming feel. The lightbar can present seven static colours and a bunch of neat lighting effects too. These are all hardware controlled via a button on on the case, with single quick presses cycling through the various colours and modes, with a long press turning off the RGB for a clean dark look.
Speaking of clean looks, inside you'll find a PSU shield fitted to help hide those messy cable connectors, while also separating the PSU heat from the rest of the internal system. Detachable dust filters make for easy cleaning with a quick, simple rinse. Anti-vibration rubber feet complete a solid design with minimum noise.
It's a great cacse available at a great price, a perfect end to our quick top 10!
