techXpo 2019 raises over $20,000 for Charity

Posted in Company Announcements on 11/3/2019

Oh my gosh, that is a BIG cheque!

During the techXpo 2019 event PB Tech partnered with event exhibitors and hosted some amazing $1 reserve charity auctions - with all proceeds going to the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust. With such a worthy cause and the excellent products donated by brands attending the show, PB Tech was proud to present them with a ridiculously massive check worth $24,450.

The Auckland Rescue Helicopter provides a professional, efficient, emergency air ambulance, search and rescue service and is staffed full-time by a highly experienced flight crew consisting of pilots, paramedics and crewmen. With the help of our community, we are able to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. With flight costs in excess of $7000, your donations will go a long way in helping them to help those in need.

This donation wouldn't have been possible without all the amazing products provided by various brand exhibitors at the techXpo 2019 - these included a massive amount of laptops and headsets from the team at HP New Zealand, the biggest and best in CPU from AMD and Intel, a 55" 4K TV from LG, Electronic Scooters from Mi Store NZ, DJI with the popular Mavic Drone, Cooler Master with the gigantic C700P, Dell with their graphic design monitors, Ninebot hoverboards, Apple iPad & Apple TVs, Kaiser Baas power banks, Razer's latest aptly named Razer phone 2, OnePlus McLaren SE Flagship and Samsung with their new Galaxy S10+ 1TB!

Lastly, a massive thank you to all who took part in these charity auctions, without your $ bids we never could have raised this much and we are very grateful for your support - I was at the Mi Electronic Scooter auction (the first one) and saw you all bidding the item up all the way up to the same price you could buy one in-store - seriously, you lot are amazing!
