EUFY Security Statement

Hey PB Tech customers,

Some of you may have heard about a software issue from Eufy, please see their statement below:

During our latest server upgrade at 6:50PM AEST on the 17th of May 2021, a software issue was identified by our engineering team at around 7:30PM AEST and was quickly resolved and fixed by 8:30PM AEST. Whilst 99.999% of our customers were unaffected, this issue did affect a very limited number of users.

We understand and take very seriously, that security is of the utmost importance with these products.
As a global leading security company we recognise that your security and privacy is of the most importance. We are implementing new protocols and measures to prevent this from happening in the future.

We have implemented a software update that fixes this issue. To ensure you are using the most up-to date version, we recommend the following steps:
1. Please unplug and then reconnect your eufy HomeBase device
2. Log out of the eufy security app and log back in again
