Nvidia has officially released their new graphics card and now we have a new addition to the RTX 30 series named the RTX 3080 Ti!
This latest "Ampere" release adds more memory than the original RTX 3080, with the RTX 3080 Ti sporting 12GB of GDDR6X compared to 10GB with the original RTX 3080. Features include PCI Express 4.0 support and also HDMI 2.1 for those chasing 8K 60FPS.
VIA NVIDIA: The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti is our new gaming flagship, running games 2X faster than the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti, and 1.5X faster than the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti at 4K. And the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti supercharges our most popular RTX 30 Series GPU with more CUDA Cores and G6X memory, making it 1.5X faster than the previous-gen GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER.
These new monster sized graphics cards offer extremely high-end performance in everything from gaming to GPU-accelerated applications and rendering tasks. Looking specifically at ray-traced games, performance is expected to be 1.5x faster than last gen. For editors and content creators rendering in Blender, V-Ray and the like, you can enjoy performance that's up to 2x faster than last-gen too.
