Bad dont buy
I bought the Edimax ethernet adapter not knowing that you need a cd slot on your laptop or pc. with out the cd it wont work, i would not reccomend this to anyone.

Good value product, if you buy two with postage then PB Tech is the cheapest place I could find, it also arrived very fast in the mail.
We bought it for our Macbooks as the thunderbolt cables from Apple do not last and are very overpriced. This USB cable is much more robust and lasts longer, also costs less.
Only con is that the drivers on the CD Rom that comes with the USB are out of date. So you have to go onto the Edimax website and search the product number to find and download the correct drivers. This can be tricky if you don't have an internet connection without the cable, in which case you need access to wifi temporarily.
Beware for MacOS
Latest driver on Edimax website supports 11.3

Perfect product for the job!
This little converter is perfect! Obviously with the struggles of working from home and constantly moving around restrictions has its downsides.
But this little adaptor is perfect for any laptop in any situation! Saved me multiple times when i needed a good stable ethernet connection
Didn't work for me
This product didn't work for me. There was no light or connection. Also, be aware that this product has an installation CD so being able to use that may have solved my problems but I don't have a CD drive.

Have purchased two of these from pbtech - both of them only lasted a few months then just stopped working completely - no connection, lights wouldn't come on, totally dead. Am now purchasing a different brand.
