DP version 1.2 so has its limitations
This cable was for my ultrawide 3440x1440p monitor @100hz. However the screen kept flickering and wouldn't maintain a picture.
I'm now using it on a 1440p 60hz monitor and it works fine, but for higher resolutions\refresh rates i'd recommend a DP v1.3 or higher cable

2560x1440@120Hz - ok, but on 144Hz it's blinking.

Been using this cable on my 4k @ 60Hz monitor and not had any display issues, hasn't come undone and the extra length was very helpful.

This DisplayPort cable provides a secure connection between your DisplayPort equipped devices and is capable of providing higher performance than either HDMI® or dual-link DVI. The DP cable supports high resolutions of up to 4K2K (3840x2160, 60Hz) with a maximum HBR2 bandwidth of 21.6Gbps, as well as an optional audio support. The cable also supports Multi-Stream Transport (MST) for daisy-chaining multiple monitors.
