Ever since I have used this USB data cable to connect my phone to the android auto carplay, I no longer have disconnections while driving. The 20 cm length is ideal to avoid cables around the gear. Great purchase. The short USB cable works well in car with my phone for navigation, and I no longer get tied up in the metre long cord I had wrapping round the gear shift. Very prompt delivery. The most important thing with USB cables to me, is how firm the fit, and that they don't disconnect when moved. This cable seems to be very good. It was way shorter than I was expecting. I thought the cable itself would be 20cm long, but the length actually seems to include both ends. Because of that it wasn't suitable for the purpose I bought it for, which was using my drawing tablet while sitting at my desk. It's only useful for plugging things in that need absolutely no distance between the port and the nearest surface. It was way shorter than I was expecting. Very happy, it is reliable. I intend to trim a bit of plastic off the Type-C end as it's a little wide to pass through the hole in my phone case - it works fine as is, but would be a little more secure once I've done that.
