DJI Osmo Mobile 6 Smartphone Gimbal Stabilizer

Thanks to PB Tech for refunding my money within a few days of purchase.
It's certainly flash with its bells and whistles but ultimately, it does not stabilize.

This is a great gimbal for just placing your phone on and you're good to go, no messing around getting a camera balanced like on my DJI RSC2. Nice and lightweight is something that is so much better than my DJI RSC2 as well, so no more feeling sore arms after extended use.

One negative that isn't mentioned on reviews is that you can't disable the focus/zoom knob when using your native phone's camera app. The DJI app, for many Android phones, can't use the manual camera settings, so I often have to just use the phone's camera app. The issue is that only within DJI's app can you disable that focus/zoom knob and it's easy to bump when using it ...view more This is a great gimbal for just placing your phone on and you're good to go, no messing around getting a camera balanced like on my DJI RSC2. It gets a tad frustrating when it's hyper sensitive, just a slight bump or brush of the hand makes it zoom. This is a limitation by Samsung on my S21 and other manufacturer's who've locked out any other 3rd party camera app from using manual settings.

I'm overall very happy for the price I paid though, definitely recommended.

Btw, that review about it not stabilizing is from a person who is new to gimbals and doesn't understand how to use them. To get perfectly smooth footage you have to try walk, as she said, as a ninja. Most gimbals are only 3 axis, so to completely eliminate the up and down shake from normal walking or running, a gimbal requires 4-axis, and as far as I know it's available on a camera/gimbal cinema setup worth thousands.

Purchased this and it arrived I believe the day or two after, and made it on time for a trip. The gimbal itself is lightweight and the telescoping handle is also something I did not realise would be as useful. The app is likewise easy to use, and until now, I have yet to try out the story setting, but looking forward to testing it on upcoming trips. I had the DJI Osmo 1 for a few years and used it sporadically, but really like the hyperlapse and motion timelapse features so decided to upgrade. This unit has alot of nice new functions and good user guides. I am not using it on a daily basis . I did see the battery life for each charging . I have a feeling that it gets discharged very fast . But i am not an expert on such techie items .
