Eufy 2K Outdoor Wire-Free Battery Video Doorbell

After reading the reviews and watching many youtube videos we thought this product would be ideal. However we were very disappointed with it. It only detects motion 70% of the time (may be less) even when we stand in front of it jumping up and down and waving our arms around. We bought a $30 security light somewhere else and it goes off without fail every time it detects motion so why cant a product that costs hundreds of dollars? Yes we followed all the guides etc in setting it up and all the troubleshooting tips. Excellent doorbell, clear picture and sound. Initial problem connecting with App but the Eufy help centre was great and after a firmware update it works a treat. Purchased this to add to our camera system but unfortunately the first one had a video problem and the night vision filter was stuck on. I did take it back to the Tauranga branch and they exchanged it for a replacement that works fine. All in all a good product and thanks to the service person at Tauranga PB Tech. I already had a buzzer at the door so didn’t buy the the Eufy door buzzer and now the existing buzzer has died hence the upgrade and camera unit. I am yet to do the install but have every bit of faith that it will work just as well as the existing camera system. So decided to buy this Eufy one. It’s awesome, comes with a battery and has the ability to be wired as well. The quality is fantastic, works with google home, stores all video on the Eufy home base so I can review footage and any point in time, and Eufy is smart enough to detect humans, setting off the alarm if you have that setup.
