Google Nest Wire-Free Battery Cam - 1 Pack

I like how sleek and easy it is to install. that’s basically it. Everything else is somewhat of a nightmare.
1. Because it is wireless it used up more battery than expected. I had to charge it atleast three times a week if the settings are on high or high movement detection. Not great at all. it dies pretty fast.
2. Settings/features are seriously limited. you have to purchase or be a member of google nest so you could utilise its full potential. only two option for quality either Max or Default and both are battery draining.

4. we really like the doorbell version of this and it was worth it. so we had to purchase this for our porch area. however, the price is not worth all the hassle i’ve mentioned better to purchase something more reliable.

I've had the Google Nest Cam Battery for about 2 weeks now. Installation was very easy. One issue I have found is that the camera is connected via magnet so if within reach of people, it could be stolen.
Of course, the footage is cloud based so for that point it's not a worry however I have purchased a security solution to try and prevent any theft.
The picture quality is very clear, the identification of objects it sees is good, including face recognition and night vision is black/white but clear.

I've found in some instances that the recording starts a bit late but overall it is a nice camera with very easy installation and reasonable software.
