So easy - like a black one, one day....
Simple to install and came with all the necessary installation kit. It connected through google home instantly. My only wish is that there were black ones available in New Zealand, I know they are available in the states. Looks a little out of place against our Shou-sugiban facade.
Works seamlessly with other Google products
While Nest was acquired by Google, all of its products work very easily with other Google products in my house, including Google Home and this doorbell camera is no exception. It was easy to set up and get running and it has been working well since I purchased it a few weeks ago. I was a little surprised to discover that the 3-hours of free video recording is not cumulative, but rather only the most recent three clock hours of history are available without paying for an additional subscription. I would recommend this product to others interested in monitoring their front door.
A great doorbell
Works very well; as expected with online reviews! Super simple to setup, you'd need a drill, but otherwise pretty trivial. Camera is better than expected, though you do have to subscribe for features around the video history and recognition.
Great product, easy setup, but…..
The doorbell was simple to install and works great. It connected through google home instantly and we have had no issues. The only thing we find annoying is that if we walk back and forth to the car to unpack groceries it triggers a notification every time you walk past the camera. You can pay a monthly subscription to add face recognition to it so it doesn’t trigger on your face and alerts you to the exact person at the door as they arrive but this wouldn’t stop it going off when we walk out the door.
Expensive but very useful
Very happy with this product. Wish it wasn't so pricey or pb tech did better bundle deals.

Got the bell and some hybs and am loving it! Also have it wired up using a plugin adapter from jaycar. Im cosidering signing up for the nest protect or whatever to get 30days of videos.

Doorbell power: Rechargeable battery (included), or existing doorbell wires (8-24 VAC, 10 VA, 50/60Hz transformer).
Doorbell chime: Existing compatible wired mechanical or digital chime, or new compatible chime/Google Nest products (sold separately).
The Nest Doorbell requires a Wi-Fi network, a working broadband internet connection with at least 2 Mbps upload speed (DSL may not qualify), a compatible mobile device, the free Google Home app, and a Google Account.
Works with Hey Google features require additional hardware sold separately, which could include a Google Nest device, Google Chromecast, or Chromecast built-in device.
