Bought this camera for monitoring a new pet at home. It works great for this purpose as the camera quality is good and you can use the mic to hear them. Purchased a set of these as they were one of the best priced products on the market for a simple to set up home security system. Easy to instal and set up with a voice directed guide and easy to use app, it is a great addition to the home security. Being a wi-fi ready product, it it easy to access from anywhere and is highly customisable for notifications and recordings. Once a microSD card was installed, the recordings are of high quality and simple to access from the one app. Would recommend! I've never brought a security camera before. I wanted this to keep an eye on my garage which houses a few of my expensive toys. This does the job wonderfully. It's 1080p and really good in low light too (although I don't have much point of reference). The alarm is just loud enough that I'd expect it to scare off a potential burglar at 2am on a quiet and dark morning. Even if it didn't, I would receive an announcement and tell them through the speaker that I've called the cops! As long as I have data on my phone or WiFi I could do this from anywhere in the country... probably even world.

There's a window in my garage which can let in fluctuating amounts of light on cloudy and windy days. This would often trigger an alert, but once I turned the sensitivity down this is no longer a problem.

I only use this camera for a simple job and I haven't looked into any advanced features. For what I need it for it's perfect

Works as expected. Detects motion and sends a notification to your phone. Option to sound a legit but fairly quiet alarm. Very easy to exclude areas like the cat's bowl and pathing. A great little camera that reliably monitors a wide viewing angle in excellent resolution. I have been using it for around a month. It will notify your phone if there is activity, and by clicking the notification it will take you directly to that moment and playback the footage. Using a Samsung class 10 grade 3 memory card I get around 7 - 8 days of 24/7 footage. Old footage gets overwritten with new footage after that. I use five different types of security cameras, all with their own mobile apps, trying to find the one that has the broadest range of features at a good price, and this is my favourite so far followed by the TP-Link Kasa range.
