I needed something easy to setup and reliable, I was recommended this unit from a security technician and I must say I'm very impressed with the camera. I got 4 of this at my place and so far no problem.
The picture quality is great and sound is great too.
I have enjoy tp link products over other brands and so I would say it is worth the money.
I use this as a security camera and so far as said doing great job.
I like that this has cloud option so at the moment I'm using it .

This is a great and inexpensive little camera for odd spots around the home. We use 2 of these to monitor our baby when we're not near, one for the cot and one in the lounge where she plays. Easy setup and works perfectly at home direct on Wifi and also automatically when away from home over the internet with no extra setup required. Very simple to set up through the Tapo app. Picture quality is excellent, although the factory default is 1080p so you need to increase this in the settings to make use of the 2k.

If using this as a baby monitor be aware the 'cry detection' isn't perfect and you may get some false positives, mine thought the neighbours barking dog was a crying baby.

It comes with a 30 day free trial of TP-link's cloud service which is nice, but local storage with a microSD card is an option instead.
