ONEX GX330 Gaming Chair - Black Red

I bought this chair because of the higher weight capacity, honestly I regret buying it. If I were a skinny person, it probably would have been fine, but the bucket seat was so narrow it eventually broke and is leaning sideways as a result. It's a shame because it was good for what I bought it for. I have a rare kidney disease and the cushion and overall design helped manage my flank pain, when sitting at my computer. If you're ... fluffy ...it's probably better to go into an office supplies store to sit in some office executive type chairs and you'd save money. If you are smaller than 5"11 then this seat is ergonomically not designed for you. Turns out that the guy who sold me this didn't know what he was doing. This seat is very large. Designed for someone with a huge body and long legs. A seat at the lowest settings I still can't keep my feet flat on the ground comfortably. TLDR; Comfortable, good support and nice back cushion. Head cushion too thick covered zip so easy fix. Armrest quality cheapish. Chair good for tall people.

Okay so I've been using this chair for about 2-3 months now. First off let me say this chair looks great even after 3 months of continuous use and I'm more then happy with it. But here is my full experience;

- Comfort. I gotta say coming from an decently expensive ergo this chair is now. I study and do some work from home so I sit in my chair for some pretty long hours and have easily been sat in this chair for 10h straight before and I'm yet to have any issues no swore bum or back, etc. The base it very comfortable the padding is even folded over and you can see the thickness of it, it's about a closed fist of straight padding or whatever they call it. I like sitting forward especially when I game and this chair 100% supports that and if I switch to less competitive games easily move the back, back and sit back completely holding my weight. Also I have pretty thicc thighs ~190cm ~100kg so I was worried about the sides sticking into my thighs but that was something I didn't have an issue with, I do everynow and again have them touch my thighs but I don't notice it have never had pain or issues with them sticking into them even with my legs spread out.

- Back and neck pillow. The back pillow is like a 9/10, great memory foam back pillow that perfectly supports your back but the neck pillow isn't the best, the foam is pretty cheap and there is just too much of it BUT it has a covered zip and if you grab say a cable tie you can easily put it on to open it and take out as much foam as you want I removed about 3/4 of it and got it perfect.

- The height. It does sit pretty tall but not that much. Out of all the chairs I've used it does sit the highest up to fit perfectly under my desk the rest of my chairs would be close to it's highest level but this it about 1/2 to 1/4 below full. It's perfect for tall people and for my height this is a great chair but I wouldn't recommend for people that are too short.

- Armrest. Armrest quality is okay. It's quality is the only issue, I don't have an issue with it's height or it rotation those are good but honestly how much money did we save with not smoothing out the molding you can feel where it was joined on the sides can prob do it yourself and wouldn't take long but come on.

Only pro to this chair is that it’s aesthetically pleasing. Had this chair since January 2022 and from the start it creaks, clunks and cracks. Every time you move there is a loud click. The seat has lost all its cushioning so it feels like I am sitting on the hard floor. The back support is all out of place and doesn’t match with spinal curves which makes it very uncomfortable and easily get a sore back after sitting for a short period of time. It’s just an all round uncomfortable chair for the price it is. Really disappointed and really don’t understand how this chair has such high reviews on google. Very good chair, better than I expected honestly. It was pretty easy to put together and it had clear instructions. The fittings are high quality and the fabric is nice. I've had it for a couple of weeks now and I've had no problems with it. It is a very comfortable chair :) Very good chair, better than I expected honestly. First the good.
- This chair looks good (despite the in your face logo and black leg and armrest)
- It’s huge and comfortable especially with the neck and lumbar support.
- The arm rest moves, so you can push it out of the way if you wanna bring you legs up.

The bad.
- The black arms rest and leg really ruin the look of the chair, but I managed the spray paints the legs and the arm rest stand(?) white because they are made out of metal. The actual arm rest is plastic and squishy so I wouldn’t recommend spray painting it.

- the instructs are crap and putting it together is a bit difficult. There were a few moments where I was confused because of the instructions being too simple. There was also a moment where I had to screw a part onto the side and the holes didn’t seem to line up. It required a little kit of force but once everything is together the chair is nice and sturdy.

I really like this chair, I use it every day. The back and head supports are perfect for me. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of the hard parts of the seat where the tops of my thighs sit. I'm over 6 ft. And the hard parts dig into me. While there is no bruising at all I do ache in those parts because of it. Smaller guys wont have any issues I really like this chair, I use it every day. I sit cross-legged most of the time so this chair being big enough for my legs is perfect. It was very easy to assemble and have no problems with it.
