Combo'd this CPU with RTX2060, and it can run almost any game to this date. Best CPU you can get at a very cheap price, every other CPU is just an extra kill on power consumption and wallet. This enough does the job. The cooler is okay, very quiet too on idle. games these days are intense on rendering, so this can definitely heat up fast. Maybe a few months you should look into swapping it with a liquid cooling. But the cooler will do for now. I reckon this 2600, is definitely the margin for 2018-2019. Fast out of the box, overclocks super easy and completely stable, plenty of headroom.
Overclocked to a mild 3.85MHz with the stock cooler.
Then
Overclocked to a fully stable 4.2MHz with aftermarket cooler.
Fast ram compliments this CPU nicely.
All games on max for me with excellent framerates

Purchased this for a build for my brother, and this CPU with 6 cores/12 threads effortlessly runs multiple applications and games. The stock cooler is nice and keeps the temps reasonably low, although one might want to consider a 3rd party cooler depending on their circumstances.

I use this cpu for my streaming machine and it has no problem handling it at all, also the stock cooler that comes with it is already good enough to use. and the shipping packaging was greatly done the was no damage on the box or the cpu and the cooler itself. Way cooler temperature wise than I though it would be. The fan on it is perfect as it regulates it so well and this unit is extremely quiet!
