We really just needed a budget CPU for simpler tasks and games but we were wary of 2nd hand. Seeing this thing performs I would gladly recommend any buyer to just go down the 2nd hand route. You will find far better performance from a older 3200, 3600, 2600 for about the same price if not less. This poor silicon lags way behind its competitors and predecessors, and doesn't even qualify for "low power users" as it still sucks back its full 65W on most tasks. I don't want to pay for a BIOS update (duh), so I bought this instead and updated the BIOS of my replacement board on my own... Nothing better than Kiwi DIY attitude!

Works after BIOS update.. tried it on the OG Operation Wolf game and was sooo impressed with 999 FPS that it bricked the game, lol.

Sold it back to the marketplace and someone bought it for the same price. Free BIOS update.. oh yeah!! ???? I don't want to pay for a BIOS update (duh), so I bought this instead and updated the BIOS of my replacement board on my own... Nothing better than Kiwi DIY attitude!

This processor was purchased as an upgrade to allow my PC to download Windows 11 which it did. I otherwise would not have bothered as this processor doesn't have a GPU like most others do these days.
