very fast cpu
performance is unreal for the price, huge overhead with 16 threads. runs very cool at only 48 degrees on average under full gaming load. DEFINITELY recommend this over the 5800x for much cooler temps. i have this paired with a rtx 3070
awesome proce to proformance
i went from a ryzen 7 3700X and have moved to thi wonderful ryzen 7 5700X which allows me to run a gen 4 speeds on CPU would highly recommend purchasing this product
Even Upgrading From A 3700X This Is Good
Upgraded from a 3700x and was rather sceptical, but man this thing rips! The difference in games is huge, well worth the money.

It was time to update my 2600X and the 5700X is a great processor for a good price from PB Tech (significant performance improvement if you are wanting to use the AM4 socket).
Cool and quiet
this is a great cpu now for those yet to transition to AM5. Still having cpus for the AM4 platform like this for a workstation (or the 5700x3d for gaming) has breathed new life into my desktop machine and was a worthwhile upgrade as opposed to having to jump over to AM5. I'll get there eventually but the motherboard options are still kinda lacking (or massively expensive) and this has replaced a 5900x which died and I haven't noticed much performance loss. Plus the 65w cpus run nice and cool and are easy to manage.

Best bang for your buk cpu
I'm happy I didn't go over the top. The ryzen 7 5700x does a great job in games paired with the 3070ti rog strix oc. More fps than my eyes will ever see.
WOW
I've been gaming on a 10+ year old gaming with an i7-4770 4c/8t this CPU feels 1000 times faster and probably is runs all the AAA games I wanted and this R7 5700x paired with a cheap 240mm AIO runs cool I ran a 30 min stress test and the CPU temp never went past 60 degrees at full load at 4.6ghz (4650Mhz) on all cores rad fans were also set to silent. Gaming at 1080p it sits around 40-50 degrees this CPU can run 1440p easy with a good GPU I'm still using my old GTX 1080 at the moment need at least a 3080 for 1440p id say. Dam good CPU for the price.
