Intel Core i7 14700KF CPU

Intel's high end 13000 and 14000 series CPUs are currently beset by instability issues due to a microcode error causing overvolting in the CPU. We're waiting on a microcode fix that *might* prevent the issue from happening in the future, but any already damaged CPUs will be irreparably broken even after the microcode change. I'd highly recommend avoiding 14700 or 14900 parts for now - as it is I'm stuck with a CPU that might fail at any time through no fault of my own and cause a painful returns process. And even if it doesn't fail now, there might already be permanent damage that doesn't become apparent until the part is out of warrantee. Massive upgrade from my 9th gen Intel. Tasks are effortless, Awesome that it was the same socket as the previous gen. A big upgrade from 12th gen i5, cpu can get really hot under full load hits 90’s with aio. Although provides what I need for excellent gaming performance with more than enough cores. This has been an absolutely brilliant CPU. Stable, handles multitasking extremely well, eats up games without breaking a sweat, even Ghost of Tsushima on day one ran smooth at 1440p zero issues. Loves video editing tasks and have yet to get it past 70c with a NZXT Kraken 360 AIO.
Love the super simple overclocking feature with the Intel Tuning Program for those that want to really maximize the Cinebench and 3DMark scores.
