Panasonic Econavi Super F-YCL27N 27L Dehumidifier

Bought a new dehumidifier to upgrade from my old one. Have owned this product for almost 2 months. This dehumidifier will dehumidify constantly for 24 hours, after which it will turn itself off if no button is pressed before the 24 hours finishes. If left on, it will keep dehumifying to lower than 50% humidity (and that's great because our rental is very wet and mouldy). Keeping the house as dry as possible is also good for my asthma as it removes much of the moisture from the air.

In comparison, the Mitsubishi dehumidifier will only dehumidify only until a room is 50% humidity (and not any less) and that doesn't help my lungs. I run the Panasonic every 2 weeks (as opposed to the Mitsubishi which thinks it's 80% humidity everyday and therefore must be run almost every day). Will run the dehumidifier until screen says 40% or lower humidity. If you change the Panasonic to low mode, it is somewhat quiet, but probably still shouldn't be turned on if you're a light sleeper. Have run it overnight and haven't felt dehydrated compared to the Mitsubishi dehumidifier.

Also good for drying clothes when you place your washing inside the house because there isn't enough heat or sun outside during winter. Have used both the clothes drying function and the dehumidify function to dry clothes - personal opinions errs towards using the dehumidify function as it will dry clothes faster.

Recommended for houses that have high moisture content, for asthmatics like me who require humidity to be lower than 50%, and just generally over its competitor the Mitsubishi.

I am really glad I have purchased the Panasonic dehumidifier with a great deal from PB Tech. It really works well in removing the moisture out of the room. The best part of it, the Dry Clothes option really dries the laundry especially when it’s raining and I cannot hang the laundry outside. I am really happy with this dehumidifier.
