It's understandable that there is a little motion in the product, but it rocks more into one corner than the others and makes noise when it does. While it is a good size for my space and rises/lowers smoothly, I type with my hands resting on the keyboard which results in the rock and click. I couldn't deal with that every time I touched the desk so I took it back for a refund. Checking another desk in store it appears to be an issue with the design, not the individual product. I'd been wanting to try a standing desk for quite some time. My colleague got something similar. This isn't the largest size available but I find it big enough for my laptop, screen, keyboard and mouse with room for a label printer and some note pad. It was easy to assemble...just the keyboard platform to attach and goes up and down easily. Only issue for me as a tall person is that the keyboard platform is a little low for comfortable typing...I can always sit if I have a lot of text to enter. I don't know how my back would have survived without this workstation for the last 4 weeks. Having had a standing desk for many years sitting at a table was a physical killer. Not as large as other standing desk options so fitted well onto smaller desk surface. Easy to assemble and to use. Adjustable height allows various members of the family to use the same workstation. I purchased this Deskalator as I had injured my back and found I was more comfortable standing than sitting at my desk all day. I however did not want a full time standing desk.

The back is great and given you are standing up for most of the day, I am feeling much better mentally and physically and feel more motivated with my work. Also the fact of standing up means I feel warmer due to the added blood flow.

I simply cannot recommend this product enough as it provides the best of both worlds - a standing desk, but when needed, you can still sit down for a break.
