I've used a few standing desks in different roles, and so decided to bite the bullet and get one for at home.
The Loctek was on special over boxing day and was a steal at the price.

So far the desk is wonderful, the motors are smooth and the collision detection works well.
The table top is actually a very light color unlike the images, closer to a white sand than the cardboard-y yellow the images show.

Setup was very simple, with the unit arriving in 2 parts. You only need attach the legs to the table top and tighten two screws. Then attach the cable trays and controller.

Speaking of which, the cable trays work well to hide all the power and other cables out of the way. My desk currently has a 5 port Multibox, Unifi USG and 8 Port switch bolted to the underside, the cabling of which is all tucked away in the build in trays that run along the center of the desk.

Highly recommended for the home office.

Very sturdy stable desk once assembled. Only item to note, the brackets that hold the motor in place are poorly designed. They are strong enough but don't allow for enough clearance of the motor between the bracket and the bottom of the desk (approx 3 mm). Easy solution to this - a bit of hack n slash to the bracket that bolts directly to the desk to notch a slot allowing for the motor to sit nicely. if this modification is not done, the legs sit on a lean inwards. In terms of desk operation though it is great. We have a toddler and the anti collison work really well. Very sturdy stable desk once assembled. Love this desk, great size and lift functionality is really good. Super easy and quick to put together, keep in mind that it is pretty heavy so it’s best to have another person to help with the setup. However, this weight ensures that it’s sturdy and there is no wobbling of any kind.

The lift sensitivity can be a bit annoying at first if it’s set up too close to a wall I found but this can be adjusted and I have had no issues since. Overall, a great purchase. I am an IT professional and spend a lot of time at my desk, particularly in Covid times. I've only had this desk for a few weeks and it is great for standing and sitting while working. for the price, it is good for a desk upgrade from a non-standing desk. it is great to set certain heights with the controller on up to 3 channels and it saves you from holding down the up and down buttons for your standing and sitting height. I've set 2 presets one for my sitting and one for my standing. Great Product, Very happy with my purchase.
