Only used half a dozen times - works well. The cable is a bit short at 500mm. The disc tray seems quite flimsy - don't know how long that will last. You may need to download third-party software to play/write to your disc such as the excellent, free VLC Media Player.

Compact, simple to use, recognised by Windows 11 and played immediately when the USB connection was made.. Exactly what I wanted.

LG. A brand to trust. works great and not comparable to those cheap cd players without brand names sold on Trademe.
Good buy for price
Pretty light and cheaply, but seems to do the job well. Plugged into PC (Windows 10) and that was it - very easy to install. A bit noisy and clunky, but that may be typical of external DVD drives.
Perfect for my needs
This is the second one of these I've bought. One for myself and one for a daughter whose read/write drive on her Apple laptop packed up. She has no Internet connection on her rural property in Nothland and no television either. So she needed something to play her DVDs and CDs on during lockdown. Fortunately, this little beauty works well on either PC or IOS and was just what the doctor ordered. PBTech even allowed me to ship hers up to her. So now we both have one each.
