I have found the Orico USB 3.0 2.5" Transparent External Hard Drive 2.5 inch Enclosure to be an excellent enclosure that allows for easy tool-free installation of compatible SSD's. Read/Write speeds are good, and I've had no problems using the enclosed SSD between computers and laptops.

There are two potential, but minor, issues to be aware of.

Firstly, the Orico USB 3.0 2.5" Transparent External Hard Drive 2.5 inch Enclosure only secures the SSD inside the enclosure by the Sata3 interface. My old 1 TB Western Digital Blue drive fitted into it's new enclosure snug & securely.
It worked perfectly when first connected & 20 gigs of data was copied to it in record time.
Lastly, although this may not be so important, the Transparent enclosure looked really cool !

I can't remember how much I paid for this but it was way cheaper than I was expecting. Super easy to set up, no screws or anything, just pop your 2.5in hard drive in so it feels snug and slide the top back on. Everything works as it should, and the transparent casing adds to the favourable impression. The drives have been operation for about a month now, and no issues with them at all.

Packaging is excellent, and the two plastic trays in which the drives were nestled make excellent desktop nicknack holders - other manufacturers take note!!
