Lenovo Carbon X390 Yoga 13" Touch FHD Ultrabook (A-Grade Refurbished)

It is a decent laptop for the kids, comes with a pen for drawing, and can be flipped over and used like a tablet or stand-up for kids to watch YouTube or play games with a touch screen.
The downside is the performance. Strangely, whenever I need to enter a password, e.g. create a new account for the laptop, the keyboard responds very slowly, with many seconds of lag for a single keystroke. Suspicious..... fingers crossed.
It's otherwise fine for normal use, just not very fast.

Brought this for my daughter to do her school work on, reasonable specs for the price - but I wouldn't call it an A Grade refurbishment. Had problems with set up when I first got it, and experienced the BSOD while trying to update Windows. This resulted in the laptop 'bricking' itself and couldn't identify the SSD. Ended up having to take it back the next day to the shop - took about half day for the technician to fix the issue. Has been working fine since and cosmetically average with damaged rubber feet. Therefore, the 4 star rating - it would be much less stars if they hadn't been able to fix the issues. Works well, just what we needed and at a great price. It's the second refurbished laptop we've bought from PB Tech, the first one lasted about 7 years! Much longer than my brand new laptop (cheaper model similar price) from Noel Leeming. Highly recommend the refurbished ones if you have a budget and would like a top grade computer for the price. I bought this as a laptop to study on and I had to install a few programs for my studies, it has been absolutely great so far! Fantastic battery life, super responsive and is in great shape for a refurbished product, with no scratches or dents you would actually think this is a brand new laptop.
