Lian Li UNI FAN SL Infinity Digital Addressable RGB 120 Fan, 3 pack with controller , White

Like others have said, they look absolutely incredible. I had seven of the white version in my old phanteks build and now have 10 in my O11D XL custom loop. Only downfall is the L-Connect 3 software, it's improved significantly since it was released but I still had some lag/monitoring/lighting issues last time I used it. Currently using Signal RGB which works alright for static colours and basic patterns but when running all four channels the fans are limited to two FPS.

I can't individually change all the fans. For example A1, A2+A3 this is my current setup. I can't change A2/A3 to have separate fan speeds. If I want to stick with the motherboard/bios fan speed it will only show up as one, since all the fans are plugged into the controller and the controller is plugged into one fan pins. Unfortunately, the software is not very great at all. Very buggy and not consistent. From my experience, the cpu temp will probably be shown as 0 for ages and then it starts to find the cpu temp and then the fans start spinning. I can't even tell if it was checking for updates since there was no visual or audio cue that told me it was checking. My software somehow pulled out chinese for me a few times, even though I had to language set to ENGLISH. The software takes a while before closing or converting into another programme called Vue app. Which took a solid 10%ish cpu usage.

Not all my fans in the controller01 is not showing an rpm. It could either be a bad wire which would explain why i received four cables for the fans to connect to the controller. Or bad software. Also it could be a bad controller but that seems less likely than the other two hypothesis.

TLDR; Fans works fine. I have no idea about cooling and can't be bothered checking. Lights and Aesthetic is pretty good. Ease of use and setup is ok. It didn't clarify which plugs are required to get which features to work so i plugged them all in. Software and customization is below average. I got this for around 140ish+ and I think for the aesthetic im pretty happy. I've only used this for nearly a month and would recommend IF ONLY you don't have fans cause the money you spent here can be used for something else like a better monitor or better gpu or cpu

Honestly, these fans are great. They looks great, the infinity mirrors on them look very cool, along with the RGB lighting. However a singular fan doesn’t seem to be recognised by the software used to control them, so if you don’t have a motherboard with built in ARGB, don’t buy a single pack. However this could just be me. The fan also looks a tad bit wobbly when it spins, which ruins a bit of the visual. But it’s a great fan all the same Honestly, these fans are great. Was unsure about spending this much on fans but after watching a build review with them I took the plunge and couldn’t be happier. Really brought our build together - looks awesome (if you are into rainbow rgb in your builds that is). The fan is great, spins well, very quiet, good lights and good looks but the rgb connector doesn’t work well with some rgb hubs/ daisy chains so be careful about that.
