ADATA SE880 2TB USB-C Rugged Portable SSD

This drive is perfectly suited to portable video editing. In a Blackmagic Disk Speed test, it wrote at 950mb/s and read at 905mb/s on a M2 Pro Mac Mini. The small size and simple USB-C connection means I can easily shift it between my desktop and portable computers, so I can continue an Adobe Premiere Pro project on-the-go. The form-factor is small and it won't take up much space when thrown into a bag. It's an ideal small SSD for working on a current project (before possibly archiving it to an HDD). I've been using the Adata Se880 for a few weeks now, and I'm absolutely blown away by its performance. Boot times are lightning fast, and applications load almost instantly. The difference compared to my old drive is night and day.

This SSD's only possible problem is that you might lose it because it is so small. Otherwise, a very well-performing piece of kit at a pretty good price. Recommended. Overall a solid product that does exactly what you'd expect it to - it's a 2TB SSD, and writes and reads at the advertised speed. Small, seems solidly built, also comes with two cables - a USB-C to USB-C, and USB-C to USB-A. Sustained write speed appears to be pretty good from what I found in reviews, but I couldn't test this due to cloning off a failing drive and the cloning method used (DDRescue). Only complaint is though it's the cheapest Portable SSD, it's still not exactly cheap!
