At the time of writing I have barely used it, but it is compact and seems to be at least as mechanically robust as might be reasonably expected. Due to my limited use, I cannot attest to its reliability yet. It worked fine for transferring a Windows 10 primary drive image from an old magnetic HDD to a new SSD. The write time of the image to this drive was as expected and the image read time for the new installation was quite good. Whenever I buy disk drives, internal and external, I always buy Western Digital, and have never struck a lemon. But this drive was a shocker. Problems immediately, so I ran disk-check and it hit a bad sector right at the start. It would not even re-initialise or reformat. Nothing. Then PB Tech's marvellous replacement system kicked in. They sent me an application form to fill in under warranty, promptly emailed a prepaid courier label and a data-sheet to be printed out, and the courier collected it from my letterbox.
