Pros:
- Decent speed for getting around, close enough to compete with cars on small roads and downhill for when pedestrians are too present. Max 25KmH on flats and can get up to 38 going downhill.

- Well priced during sales so grab them when you get the chance after considering the following cons.

Cons:
- Front brakes so always be cautious with your weight distribution as Auckland is quite hilly as we all know...
- Still limited to 25KmH so you know, its fast but not incredibly fast comparatively (imagine having speed as a pro and a con...)
- No suspension in this model so you are feeling every little bump on the way.
- Air tires are good at eliminating a small number of bumps, but a pain to change should they deflate. No spare is provided.

Notes:
- Locking it up for trips. I use mine primary when I can bring it with me for the entire time or when I can store it in an exclusive area i.e break room at work. Scooter thieves are getting bolder and bolder so get a good U-Lock and 1 to 2 more solid cord locks to add a bit more intimidation and protection to it.
Remember locking it up in an area too secluded gives a thief a long time to themselves when working on the lock and locking it up somewhere too public advertises the scooter for theft especially if it is there on a regular basis.

8.5/10 Just because you can get real familiar with getting around at max speeds and it is a happy middle ground for performance and price.

Great scooter for getting around. Has enough grunt for me and is lightweight and robust, will be extra cautious when riding on footpaths with sometimes uneven terrain as I could see it going pear shaped quickly otherwise, will definitely be wearing my helmet with it. So good to save petrol at the current prices. Quick charging too and great range at 65km. Great scooter for getting around. Recently purchased the Ninebot Max from PB Tech Wellington and has been a pretty smooth ride so far. The Max imported by PB Tech has a generation 1 engine (SN starts with 6 on the rear engine) and goes to 25KM/H on sport mode. However, this can be easily changed to 30KM/H by changing the region to the US that involved simple steps if you need that extra boost.

A small problem that I have is that the rear wheel plastic cover has fallen off as the clips are snapped. As far as I am aware, this cover is solely cosmetic and should do fine without it. Instead of hiring all the time, we decided to make an investment and have found the g30 max to be an extention to our whanau's convenience and happiness! It is smooth and quite as it whizz's along the beach front.
We tend to follow the care instructions so that we will see many more years of enjoyment from this purchase.

For a first scooter, this one doesn't disappoint. I have thus for a month now. After so much research, this item has the smoothest ride. Power is good enough amongst its price range.
