Bought Deebot T9 in January 2023, it worked fine for few months and then cleaning became inconsistent. Sent for repair but the cleaning is still inconsistent. A co-worker told me about their T9+, so we purchased ours. Other than a few growing pains with me trying to figure out how it all works, I absolutely LOVE this machine. I purchased an Ecovacs machine, and it has been nothing but a disappointment. The product doesn’t live up to its promises. The auto-suction feature is useless because there’s no sensor to detect when the bin is full. You can’t schedule it to empty automatically, so you have to do it manually to prevent the machine from either spreading dust around or stopping the cycle, sending itself to charge, and asking to empty the container—completely inefficient.

The mapping system is just as bad. If you move something as simple as a chair, it gets confused, stuck, and forces you to remap the entire space. Add to that the fact that no one in New Zealand can service it because parts are unavailable, and Ecovacs’ support only cares if it’s under warranty. I’ve owned this product for 2 years. It worked well for a few months when first purchased but then started to lose its location in house and stops working. Resetting works temporarily and the issue occurs again in a few weeks. The product firmware has not been updated since I first purchased the product so it’s very poorly supported. I’m finally thrashing this in the bin and going for another brand. If you need something reliable, this product isn’t the one. Don’t buy it. I’ve owned this product for 2 years. I have a mix of carpet and tile, the vacuum is really good, the path finding is good, the self empty is good. There is a lot to love about this little guy. I also love the scrubbing on the mop, cleans better than I can with a mop that's for sure! I can't really think about any downsides to be honest. It's quiet, does its job, self empties. While I did alot of research on robo vacs and even though consumer did not rate this vac very highly, we decided to purchase this vac because of all the great online reviews and friends who had this model. I am happy with how well this cleans and vaccums up pet fur. I have 2 dogs and specifically bought this model with the self empty mode as it says it is good for pet fur. The self empty mode is useless on pet fur and when I emailed the support they said I should pre empty some of the fur to allow the self empty option to do its job, making the self empty option pointless.
