Cooler Master Master CH-331 USB Multi-Platform Gaming Headset

I bought and the paying on it is way too thick. Also this headset seems like it's made for people with real big heads. We had the Cooler Master CH321 and it worked fine. The CH331 however wouldn't let us lower the volume past a certain point. The older model CH321 would let you lower the volume to barely audible, but the CH331 wouldn't. The lowest volume was low but still clearly audible, which became annoying. Had to return it. I bought this on the strength of Cooler Master's CH321 headset.
The sound quality is excellent, and the removable microphone is nice, and the inline volume controls are really great.

However, the single headband design results in a poor fit in almost all cases.
There's no way for the ear cups to sit flush around your ears, because when you adjust the headband, the angle of the ear cups is effected.
That's the advantage to a dual-headband design (like the CH321 had), and it changes the quality of the sound.

This is an OK headset for chatting in a game or for video conferencing, but it's dismal for serious audio.

I have had only problems with this headset. Microphone plays extremely loud static if you touch it slightly, audio quality feels like having a fishbowl on your head and the headset itself is made for mini people and not for adult men, as wearing the headset means that if you have a normal sized head the bottom of the ear cups deflect upwards at around a 30 degree angle ruining any comfort or remaining sound quality. There are infinite better options for the price, if you're looking for budget headphones go for a hyperX or something, not this one. I have had only problems with this headset. I'm not an audiophile or anything, just a casual headphone user for calls, videos and occasionally music. This works very well for my needs, sits comfortably on my head for extended periods (although the ears can get a bit sweaty) and the earcups provide a little natural sound dampening, but not so much that you won't notice if someone calls your name. Good value, worked straight away, and it's excellent that it uses USB-A and therefore plugs into a huge range of devices (especially as someone who generally uses tech which is a few years behind).
