I have been using these for the last couple of weeks and looking forward to testing when travelling. They provide a good level of noise cancelling for the price. The pouch is very handy and fits easily into a travel bag. The replaceable AAA battery is handy as you can carry a spare battery rather than needing to recharge an integrated battery while travelling and the headphones continue to operate as conventional headphones even when the battery is flat (of course without noise cancelling). They can be easily plugged into aircraft entertainment systems either directly or with the supplied 2 pin connector. Recommended for air travel; however if you are looking to use them everyday then I suggest a more expensive option with Bluetooth and an integrated microphone/battery (these are cable only and do not have a microphone).

Bought these to replace my ageing (+10yrs) sennheiser noise-cancelling headphones (PX-100) that I use on flights. Although larger in size they are significantly better in all apsects. I really like that the battery is held in the headphone (not part of the cable) and is easily replaceable, the fact the cable can be detached (very useful to avoid getting tangled when sleeping) and the excellent carry case. I think the sound quality is very good and the noise cancelling is excellent. 40hr battery life seem to be accurate and I find them comfortable to wear. Picking them up on sale meant they are also great value. Really good headphones. This is my second pair of these headphones. The first pair is still going strong, just getting a bit worn after a lot of use. Good sound quality and reasonable noise cancelling. You would have to spend at least $100 more to get anything significantly better. Really good headphones.
