Working from home on split shifts got me looking into getting a hub so I could use my HDMI and VGA monitors to my work Dell Laptop
This is just what I was looking for, no problem installing and looks nice and not too big as just sits to the left of my laptop.
Helpful sales staff informed me that Thunderbolt 4 ports are compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C devices.

Perfect for connecting a 4K Monitor to Macs
Does exactly what it says on the box. 4K @ 60HZ over HDMI. Charges my M1 Macbook perfectly too. Great value if you just need something to connect a monitor and charge your laptop.

Plug it in and it works! Had some difficulty when using multiple points at once but great for one at a time.
Great little product for the price
I purchased this wee hub during lockdown to use with my MacBook Pro (M1 chip) and the external monitor I have for my WFH setup and it did the job brilliantly. Plug the USB C power cable directly into the hub and the pass-through powers the MacBook with no issues, then extend or mirror your display through to the external.
It does seem to run pretty warmly/hot - but I used it all day every day for two weeks and it didn't miss a beat. I haven't however tried it with two external monitors though. Gave it four stars because of the running warmly issue and I don't know if this will affect its longevity.

A great little device, just plug n to the laptop, monitor and wireless keyboard/mouse dongle thingee and it all works!

It didn't work with my device. It appears to only works with 4k devices.
