I purchased this cable to extend the range of the headphones that I use when recording music and the signal barely makes it through the cable - it gets very thin and sounds like listening to a radio station with poor reception. Completely unusable. Because it bent only one headphone will play music, tested with multiple pairs of headphones, and trying the headphones without the cord. Please stay away from this product. good product, worked exactly how I wanted, used to extend my headphone jack from my PC. It should be advised that if headphones have a mic, it will not work correctly if pushed all the way in due to the mic having an extra ring. Best to avoid this if you're looking for an extension for your headphones or speakers to listen to music or film/tv.
