Logitech Pro Flight New X56 H.O.T.A.S. RGB Throttle And Stick Simulation Gaming Controller

I returned my first Saitek X56 Rhino as the Z axis (twist) spring failed after about 1 years intermittent use. The guy's at PB Tech were very good and accepted the return with no fuss. I chose to replace the X56 with another X56, Logitech having taken over the product from Saitek. This one has lasted two years, but now the main trigger has failed. Worked great for the first few months but now after a year of use, there is a tonne of wobble when the stick is centred, throttle has become incredibly stiff and throttle friction adjustor no longer works, yaw twist grip rubbing on something making terrible sound, stick thumb mini joystick having issues (moving in-game despite not being touched) and various software issues (however could be un-compatible with certain games). Overall, way overpriced for what you get and not an upgrade quality wise to the older saitek x-56 that was riddled with quality issues. This won't last very long with normal use. Overall I like the setup and it gave me increased confidence when playing Elite Dangerous.

This joystick does everything it says it will.
Sadly the Logitech driver software is a bit clunky but should improve in time.

Well, close to it at least. Great feel on the stick and throttle do-dackie, more buttons than you can shake a stick (pun intended) at. Has reduced my failed landings in MS Flight Sim 2020 by 4500%. Unfortunately, while at first this HOTAS seems to be a good cheap buy, the reality is literally everyone has problems with these. Countless reviews online complaining about the same problems this product has. Just search it up.

I must say, I sent mine back before anything else could go wrong do I didn't get many critical failures with the system apart from some buttons and scrolls that just didn't work to begin with. Many others aren't as fortunate.

Build quality is a big oof with this as well. Everything is plastic... Literally everything. Wouldn't be an issue if everything didn't break.

If you want to get into flying and want a cheap system, buy a x52 HOTAS. WINWING is one of the best mid-high tier products I've brought. Just got the Orion2 systems and it's amazing.

The throttle master/controler has a tendency to draw to much power. Causing the controller to effectively restart. This has changed the way I play Elite...Thequality is superb, the resistance in the throttle makes it feel expensive and not cheap.

If you are into flight sims this the right one for you. It has lots of customizable buttons, knobs, switches, etc which will keep your hands on the Throttle or Stick during the flight. It works perfectly with MSFS 2020 and DCS World and any other simulator games you can think of. Despite it is built with plastic it is sturdy and premium. In a nutshell, it will perfectly do the job. Really pleased with this product after a month. It’s solid enough and there’s lots of support for it given it’s been on the market a while.
