Wacom Intuos Pro Medium Graphics Tablet with Wacom Pro Pen 2 technology

I have been using Wacom drawing tablets for 15 years and finally decided to make the move to the Intuos Pro, which I have now been using regularly for almost a month. I have had ample time to weigh the pros and cons of this device and can easily say that overall, I definitely recommend it! I love using it and I got it for the best price here at PB Tech. HOWEVER, I do not recommend this if it is your first time using a drawing tablet. I recommend starting on something like Wacom Intuos Small/Medium before upgrading to the Pro once you've mastered the learning curve. Onwards to the pros and cons!

Pros:
- Solid construction and quality materials
- Comfortable pen
- Lots of replacement nibs
- Textured surface that offers resistance (and therefore more control)
- Good size
- Highly customisable buttons and scroll wheel
- Great sensitivity
- Touch functions
- Pen stand! (with extra nibs stored inside)

Cons:
- Nibs wear out faster than other models (BUT I would rather the nibs wear down than the surface of the tablet! Much easier to replace). The wear on the nibs can be reduced by adjusting your settings, making the pen more sensitive and requiring less pressure for the same results.
- Pen stand is near impossible to open with the directions given! Took me forever to figure out how to open it. Place it flat on your left palm and press down firmly with your flat, right palm, twisting to the RIGHT (not the left, as indicated on the bottom of the stand). Opening it the first time is the hardest. After that, it's easy.

This tablet really brought my content to the next level!

It is such a better size for working from home

I have been using a wacom for 15 years and need to upgrade as the old board was worn. Intruo Pro was similar to what I was using and was excited about having a wireless device but have found it to lag when using bluetooth to the point I cant even use it. I have no to issues when it is connected via usb but wouldn't recommend this product if you expected to use this via the bluetooth. When I'm using the pen to paint, the strokes are "sometimes" registered and other times ignored. I tried different pressure and angle with the pen, but the problem still persist.
My tablet is fully charged and connected via USB cable, so it should not be a connection issue since the pen curser works just fine, but any contact with the tablet is not registered.
Some days it'll work like it should, other days it'll suddenly decide to stop working while I'm in the middle of editing photos or painting.
Seriously, I get MORE done with a decent mouse than using THIS Wacom Intuos Pro! That's how bad this product is.
I expected a quality product since this is a product made by "WACOM" and considered a Pro device, but in reality this was a shockingly UNRELIABLE product.
I'm very disappointed with the Wacom Intuos "Pro" tablet.

This product is NOT RECOMMENDED.
It's expensive and unreliable. Definitely not worthy of being marketed as a professional tablet.
I will be looking for alternatives.

What a fight to get it to work with a Mac. And yes I know there are permissions and security issues with system access on a new Mac. But even then, once those issues have been sorted as outlined on their web site (but not on the actual packaging) It still doesn't work. For the first time ever I had to call an IT consultant to visit my studio and install something. Even then it took over an hour and a half to do something that should have been "plug and play". It turned out Wacom's garbage software scatters components all over the place, and the only way to get it to work is to manually move them to the right place. Everything else is fine, but I don't think the Pen and Nibs are great.

I bought it recently and am really happy about it. My partner is using it to edit is pictures and i am myself using it for graphic design. The quality is great from the tablet to the pen. Easy to set up and such a great feeling using it.
