Wacom Intuos Bluetooth Pen Tablet - Medium - Berry

Pros:

- It's an Intuos. It performs as well as a Wacom tablet should. You might need Windows Ink on or off depending on your OS and program of choice before pressure sensitivity works, but once you get it sorted it works well.
- Pairing it to a Windows device is very straightforward, and the Wacom software has improved significantly since my last Intuos (a 3)
- The tab at the top holds the pen, which is super useful.
- Left-hander friendly button placement
- Charges remarkably fast, very decent battery life, secure cable placement when using it plugged in

- Slight lag on occasion, as is typical of Bluetooth in an environment where there's a lot of other wireless communication on the same channels.
- The button on the pen seems poorly placed - I keep hitting it on accident
- If you sometimes use it with different monitor setups on the same device, you'll have to do the quick few clicks in the Wacom desktop center program to remap the tablet every time.

Purchased this medium Wacom pad when I was after a solution to convert my handwritten notes to text for email etc with my upcoming hand surgery. No matter what settings were tweaked, it was like clown writing and, despite the tablet's size, I couldn't fit more than about four words on it at a time. I have since been told that it is good for art/drawing but that is not what I went into PB Tech for. Unfortunately, this item will just gather dust in our office now. Good old simple Outlook and its dictate icon turns out to be ideal for most things.
