I purchased this board simply because it is the only one, currently, in the Asus X570 line that doesn't have a fan. Instead it has perfectly functional heat sinks which work well and, unlike an onboard fan, hopefully won't cause potential problems as the board ages. Overall. I think it is a very good motherboard.

Been using this board for almost a month. Detected and worked out of the box with the Ryzen 5900x. Love the fact there is no fan on the board. Just make sure you have active air flow over the board of you will experience slow downs. Got more performance and stability after updating the bios. I generally stay away from beta versions for and wait for stable versions. Just remember to set the Extreme Tweaker -> Ai Overcloacker Tuner -> D.O.C.P.
