It took less than 2 years on a barely used Nintendo Switch
Became read only, couldn't turn off the read only flag
This is far sooner and far worse outcome than I thought I would get, I've never had a microsd card fail in a switch or any other device.

Used in a Nintendo Switch OLED, it was working fine, until it didn't. It just stopped being usable by the Switch, although it did detect it was inserted & removed.
On a PC I could read the card to back up the Nintendo folder, but it remains to be seen if the copy is actually usable.
Formatting the card failed. Even MiniTool Partition Wizard failed to format it properly even after deleting the partitons and reformatting.
The 'Nintendo' folder always remained on the card, even after formatting. It's as though the card is permanently write-protected.

I bought this to store my ebooks and offline music on, it works perfectly. All the storage I could need for a very reasonable price - great value. Would recommend. This is maybe not a high end memory card, but it is doing its work and I'm happy with it.
