Boya BY-M1DM Dual Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone (Record 2-Person Interviews on 1 Device)

Really good quality from each of the mics but it say elsewhere and even in the manual that it records each mic onto a separate channel. I was hoping to be able to record 2 subjects and mix the audio later to remove any artefacts caused by coughing, sneezing, etc. but it records as a mono signal. Tried on multiple machines direct and through adaptors with no joy. Eventually contacted Boya who confirmed it's not possible. I purchased these thinking I was getting something cheap and nasty (referring to different reviews all over the internet). Then, once I got them home a did a soundcheck for a video, my friend and I were both blown away!

Being that they're under $100, I expected junk. This is nothing of the sort! Couldn't recommend these more!!!! Needed something quickly to record to subjects into one camera and this worked a treat -

Obvs not super high quality but got the job done and will be used on other jobs like podcast interviews etc. - So totes worth the small outlay to aid in isolating the audio -

Very happy with the purchase. Trying it out and the performance was exactly what I was looking for. Great for starting out and wanting to improve your audio. Like many others, I wasn't expecting much from this product considering the low price, but I was surprised with the quality of sound. I still have a big microphone for in house use, but having this one for the go is a definite must. Extremely portable, comes with its own travel pouch.
Bought this on click&collect and, as per usual, staff was extremely efficient and friendly during pick-up. This is a well designed piece of gear - the sound quality is great and warm but also the cable is long enough to easily accommodate to 2 persons interview setups.
