The microphone itself is great, but the clamp is the cheapest and flimsiest thing i have ever seen, is snapped 5 minutes after it was on my desk when i was adjusting the angle. Very satisfied with the microphone overall. However, the description doesn't mention it needs Phantom Power and so when I received and tested this, the volume was really quiet. It's okay after editing if you're good at editing audio. But I just bought a cheap phantom power supply off trademe and it takes way less post-processing now. The Stand is decent but Mic is rubbish. Even with Phantom Power it doesn't work. Didn't know I needed phantom Power as wasn't stated. I had to Google what was needed. Wasn't even bothering to take back. Don't cheap out on a Mic, go for best in your budget, even a USB Mic works far better. The Stand is decent but Mic is rubbish. We purchased this a few weeks ago and returned it. The quality wasnt what we expected and required that we purchase a power pack and audio adapter to get it working.

I've really enjoyed the quality that this microphone is delivering.

The mic boom arm is a great piece of kit. I use it with a shotgun mic (to keep it out of shot when making desktop videos) but there is nothing wrong with the included mic. You will need an audio interface that provides 48V phantom power if you want to use the included mic, or any other mic that comes with an XLR connector. USB mics or condenser mics that come with 3.5mm connectors don't need an audio interface. I'm happy with my purchase. The mic boom arm is a great piece of kit. Gotta say the microphone isn't that bad. The only problem I faced was the fact that the microphone sound was really quiet and found out I had to use an audio boost. Overall it's a great microphone. I did listen to myself in the microphone so it's decent quality. But yeah nothing to say less but the fact that it is decent. Gotta say the microphone isn't that bad. This is a great microphone, plain and simple.
I have had it for a few weeks and I haven't had any issues of any kind. I have found that you don't need phantom power, I would recommend that you do setup phantom power though, for maximum effect. This is a great microphone, plain and simple.
