At the lowest height of the stand, it brings my laptop screen up to the height of my 2nd screen. Excellent for WFH as it also creates more workable space on my desk for a notebook and keyboard. Fits my ASUS Tuf gaming laptop well, it's not moved at all and I was a little apprehensive that the rubber wouldn't hold it. Works great supporting my 15" MacBook Pro, with plenty of space underneath for my music keyboard, and really helps with getting air under and behind the laptop to reduce overhearing. The rubberised pad stops slipping, but does mean that the stand can't act as a heat sink as there's no significant thermal contract with the metal laptop case, but it's still a great deal. Access to the trackpad and the side ports is unimpeded. I could not find the one I wanted as stock was an issue, but I am so stoked with this stand that I am glad my other choice was not available. Highly recommended!! Good for its price Good for its price

I've been using this stand now for about a month, and it's wonderful. Being able to have my MacBook at eye level has relieved a lot of stress in my neck and back, which has meant I'm in a much better mood, I have more energy, and I'm able to do much more and better quality work. Ideally, I would've liked it if the stand could rise even higher (I'm 6'4" tall, so the taller, the better!), but I'm still thrilled with the results! The stand base is solid and heavy. The height adjust function doesn't really work however. It's got some sort of spring that causes it to pop up to full height by default, and the screw for holding it in position doesn't really provide enough force to reliably hold it down.
