As a very tall person, and having purchased a new HP laptop, I needed to raise the height of the screen face instead of using books.

This Brateck model is excellent, as my laptop folds in half, with the key board sitting on top and the screen folded up to the exact position you require, obviously using instead a wireless stand alone keyboard.

We have been using these for about a fortnite. We found that the standard desk monitor mounts meant that the screens were too far away for easy work especially on large spreadsheets. With these you are able to place in the ideal posistion on the desk and not lose the space underneath as we would have with a standard riser.

This riser is just the ticket - it's rock solid and doesnt look bulky on my desk. It has provided me just the right amount of elevation for my screen for Zoom calls. I love this laptop stand. I initially looking at other stands which appeared slimmer and lighter, but went with Brateck since it could double as a monitor stand. I have no regrets! It is heavier than other stands, but how often do you carry a stand around?! I like that it is solidly built and don’t worry about my laptop slipping off. Size wise, it is comparable to other stands.
