If you are looking for a reliable wifi connectivity, don't look here. This particular model was supplied to me by my provider and is complete rubbish! I have a 2 bedroom house and I cannot get wifi from the living room, across the hall into our bedroom. Works well on hard wiring however. We have a gigantic plan for 1000mbs Wi-Fi, though on my iPhone 7s plus, i've got speeds as low as 0.95mbs. Which is shocking, at first we thought it was the internet company, but after the reassured us and we bought an Asus router, our internet is fine

5G Wi-Fi signal drops at a range of about 19-12 meters and requires you to stand directing face to face with the router to achieve speeds even close to 70mbs.
The max I have EVER reached on this router is around 300mbs, and that's with the gigantic plan and the very latest Asus laptop (also from PB tech).

Terrible router for gaming, I've had to wait over 11 HOURS! for a 22GB game to install, usually should take around half an hour or less.

Do yourself a favor, get an Asus router and save your money.

This router is utter garbage.
We never brought it, and was supplied to us by Trustpower.
The range is bad, the quality is bad, the speed is bad. This fails at even being a Wi-Fi router.
We upgraded to a Netgear Orbi router recently.. you can literally feel the difference compared to this router.

In short, you're making a mistake if you consider buying this router. This router is utter garbage.

In the next room, 3 metres from the router, the connection constantly drops and signal is terrible. Unable to play Netflix. Unable to play online games without it constantly lagging.

Was supplied this router by Nova Energy as a new customer and am totally disappointed with its performance. Continual streaming/buffering problems. I will now go and buy my own router and won't renew my contract with Nova. I had the same issues with Vodafone until they replaced their original modem with an Ultra Hub one. Nova Energy supplied this modem when when joined up with them for UFB. The wi-fi speed when in the same room dropped to about a 10th of the speed that we had through Vodafone HFC, and we can't get any wi-fi signal at the other end of the house (about 10m away through 2 walls). I can't even log in to the admin portal to change any settings. I've reset the router twice but still can't log in using the default password. Absolute rubbish.
