Works with everything I've tried
I bought it as a monitor use with the video switcher Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro, for which it has worked well. I have two HP laptops, the work laptop works with the monitor via either USB C or HDMI, with my own laptop it is only working via HDMI. My Samsung Galaxy A90 phone works with the monitor via a HDMI adaptor, connecting straight with USB C to USB C doesn't work as the monitor needs power through the USB which is beyond my phone.
I'ts proven very useful as a second screen while working from home during Covid Lockdown.
Good but has some quirks
Where this monitor is awesome is being able to get another screen on your laptop from just a single USB-C cable. It’s also very light-weight which makes it easier to transport (even if the case is a little more bulky than needed). Where it falls short is that the stand/cover is awkward to use and not very stable. The colours on the monitor are good enough if you care about business apps but not so good for photos or movies. The other pain is that the HDMI input will only work if the device you’re connecting is set to NTSC mode (NZ devices default to PAL). A great little monitor
I eyed a portable monitor when I was travelling for work a lot, however with COVID there is no much time for that. However I ordered it now for moving overseas and for the time until my workstation setup arrives. I went for the HDMI version so we can connect the Nintendo switch as well.
