Excellent with MacBook Pro and Logic X. Couple of things to consider though - USB C connection does not have enough bandwidth to support USB 3 and full resolution, it will default down to USB 2. So you will need to use a separate USB C connection from the MacBook to your external SSD’s / audio interface. Secondly I recommend powering the MacBook from its included adapter. The screen has great resolution and a practical size.
After using a U2713HM since 2012, it was time for me to get something new.
Buying the 27" ultrasharp, sometimes I felt the space lacked a bit and I should have got the bigger 30" version which was 16:10.
If you are wondering if you should get the 34" or the 38". For $200, the choice of the 38" is a no brainer at this point.
Watching 21:9 movies on this display will make you feel like doing it with an imax screen.
Lots of empty space around when using it, but you at least never feel like the space is over crowded.
The speakers are loud, but the sound quality is not so good.
