LG 32MN500M-B 31.5" FHD IPS Monitor

This is a true value monitor, good for people that want a low resolution, but large size - perfect if you needs bigger fonts. The picture quality is decent, you can clearly see the pixels which is expected at this size and resolution, there is no blurring. It is not the brightest in the pack (at full brightness it is dimmer than a 10 year old iMac), but reasonable for the price. However, one rather disappointing aspect is that it doesn't even have input auto-detection (standard in all other brands), so it's pretty much only usable with a single computer despite having two inputs. The monitor works well but having such a large piece of reflective glass/polymer is actually a fairly big negative. If you are going to set up a monitor with a window or a lightfitting behind you I would not recommend this monitor. That said it is pretty good value for money except for that one issue. I was using two old 32 inch televisions for ten years and finally decided to upgrade, one was a Samsung I bought in high school and the other my late grandmothers Panasonic (rest in peace gran gran I love you). Purchased two of these and can't believe I didn't upgrade sooner. I am ecstatic with the results. Absolutely phenomenal. Crystal clear, high refresh rate, giant size. Stoked. Would do it again. But I won't, because these work great. Unless I break it. Which I might, because I'm hard on gear. Well that's what my mum says. Out with the old, in with the LG32MN500M-B. Thanks PBTech, I love you. I have 2 computers sharing 3 screens. This works & looks really good but when I shutdown one computer and start up the other this screen doesn't sense the new computer. I have to manually change the input through the settings on the Monitor. My AOC 32 inch can do this and thought this would to? though for the price you can't complain. Great size at 32" - have it as my main display in a 3 monitor + laptop setup. Won't go back to smaller screen, dreading going back to city office with 24" screens. Got it an Xmas on special so was great value at that time.
Just note, as mentioned in another review, I agree the screen is very shiny so wouldn't be great if you have bright background behind you.
