Having the USB-C has come in handy more than I expected, both for charging and connecting to a Macbook - I think it is worth paying more for this over the other similar model that doesn't have it. I did notice a thin green line appear occasionally but haven't able to figure out the cause, I may have just been unlucky in getting a unit with a mysterious defect. Overall recommended. I am using this monitor as a main monitor for my MacBook Pro. It's perfect. The resolution, colour, contract, brightness and detail are every bit as good, and arguably better than the retina display of the MacBook. At 27 inches there is plenty of real estate. I purchased this monitor so that I could reduce my desktop clutter, and the single USB-C cable to the monitor, which also charges the MacBook achieves this perfectly. I read a lot of reviews before purchasing and some were a bit mixed. Maybe I am easily impressed compared to some, but as a photographer I know quality in colour. Works fantastic with my Microsoft surface . Superb color , crisp images , nice speakers for a monitor ,charges my surface no problem via usb-c
However has audio issues when connected to my wife’s M2 Macbbook Air (genuine Apple dongle) Both USB-C and HDMI audio does not work properly . Audio is broken and clips constantly . I Connected the supplied USB-C cable from my Mac Mini to the Monitor USB-C port to power up the USB Hub. A Wacom CTL-400 tablet and a 2 Bay Externally Powered Sata Enclosure are connected to the Hub. The HDMI Cable(supplied) was used to connect the Mac Mini HDMI 2.1 Port to the Monitor HDMI Port. I used the Joystick beneath the lower LG Logo to select the monitor input to HDMI1. In the Monitor General Option, I also enabled the HDMIUltra HD Deep Color option under the General Option. To make the Sonoma UI usable, I used a scaled resolution of 2560x1440(the underlying resolution is still 4k).
Viewing 4k HDR Content in Youtube is simplying amazing. The Colour Rendition for Photo Editing & Viewing appears to be good; I looked at some portraiture in a celeb photographer's website, and the skin tones look excellent, with the correct amount of saturation and contrast.
The sound from the Monitor speakers with the Waves MaxxAudio Option selected, is also good compared to the Mac Mini’s speakers. Been using the Monitor for more than a forthright currently.

Has a nice sharp picture, low FPS doesn't bother me with my light gaming habits (Minecraft etc). Really like the design. However. A 4k monitor might be a bit of an overkill for some as it is a 27" monitor, not a big TV so not a very noticeable difference when compared to a 1080p monitor so you might want to go for a lower resolution and higher FPS if you're a big gamer. Super happy with this monitor, using it with an M1 MacBook and everything renders beautifully and just plugging in a single usb-c cable for power, display and peripherals is awesome! My only nitpick is that the base of the stand is really wide so you need to have a lot of real estate to place it on, other than that I can't fault it! I upgraded to this monitor from a 23inch FHD 1080p screen and it is something I regret not doing years ago - I will never go back to anything lower than 4k at 27inches or less.

1: It certainly feels better on my eyes having high DPI and no screen-door-effect as I had with 23inch 1080p FHD. The picture clarify is otherworldly compared to 1080p-anything.
2: The screen work area is VERY useful - way less scrolling and easy to tile windows in quarters while still remaining functional.

3: I initially intended to get the cheapest model but it was sold out during a sale and I am happy I went with this model - the USB C port that allows laptop charging/video/USB/audio and the USB ports at the back make things much cleaner and you don't have to buy hubs and other nonsense.
4: The stand doesn't take up too much desk space and is stylish and height adjustable.
5: It is gorgeous as a art display when your High DPI wallpapers and screensavers come on: Mesmerizing. DO use screensavers to avoid wrecking your screen.
6: It should be fine for casual gaming provided you can either support 4k gaming or you change the resolution output to 1080p or 1440p - 1080p on a 4k monitor still looks better because the pixels are so close to each other you don't have screen door effects. Test 4k gaming before you buy if this is relevant to you.
7: It works great with Debian GNU/Linux 11/12 on Wayland or x11 with scaling working perfectly without any issues that I've noticed.
8: The screen navigation button setup and software works very well - I think Windows users can also get software to change display/picture modes through software (see manufacturer website.). It is easy to switch between display/picture modes which is useful for different brightness settings required at different times during the day.
9: I would rather have this single display than a dual setup of lower resolution screens as I had before.

USAGE: Have used it for a month before this post: Working on projects - day-to-day productivity, watching media content (Not 4k video due to hardware constraints). I sit about arms length away from it at closest and about an arm+hand breadth at most while working at a desk about 60cm deep + 5cm wall gap - I use it as a TV about 3M away and it is a massive upgrade from 23inch 1080p for that use case also.

NOTE: If you have a low powered laptop or old desktop test to make sure it can handle 4k without bursting into flames beforehand.
NOTE: I had lots of considerations to make sure I got what I wanted. I am super happy I did not get a FHD 1080p monitor (even a 21inch) and I am also happy I did not go with 1440p. I will NEVER EVER go back to anything lower than 4K.
NOTE: Read the manual on the manufacturers website for whatever you purchase to make sure you know exactly what you get.

CONS
1: Coming from 11 year old 1080p 23 inch IPS Samsung monitors to this monitor it is nearly impossible to come up with any cons and when you have nothing else of the same caliber to compare it to right next to it you would never know any better anyhow. I did see a Titan gaming display that had better white levels but you would never know any better unless you had it sitting right next to it - and that might also just be a settings adjustment - in any case it was almost 50% more expensive and I have NO regret not getting it.
2: No software for Linux based systems to switch display/picture modes as far as I know - very minor issue that is more of a luxury: Fishing for cons.
