Philips 243V7QJAB/79 24" FHD Monitor

Much better than the similar LG model. Not edge to edge but almost.

Upsides: Blacks are good and black. Blue filter included, light and easy to install, small desktop footprint, reasonable DOF for adjusting.

Downsides (2): The speakers are a mess, like a 1964 Transistor Radio. The interface is not easy to use, not intuitive, with too many buttons, and still run-on menus that don't scroll, and it does not auto signal sync. One DPI, One HDMI (with sound), one dip 10. I have bought this model many times, there are 3 cables in the box, VGA, HDMI, DP.

I bought this monitor over lock-down as I EEED it for study. It was a mistake. The picture is OK, but the blackpoint is rubbish. The backlighting is not even when then screen is white, and the black is not even when it is dark. The user interface is also very very early 2000's. Sleep mode doesn't exist and the monitor keeps restarting every minute or so. Sound is also tinny. Really a total let down to be honest
When I spoke with the store manager at the Henderson store he was confrontational and inflexible. He said "what do you expect for this priced monitor" Also attempted multiple contacts with PBTech main office. No call back

I have two of these with a dual VESA mount. Great color match, Great brightness.. two really good monitors.

The picture quality on this monitor is great - bright and crisp. However, the stand that connects the screen to the base is very wobbly, so even moving the mouse or typing the keyboard causes the screen to wobble from side to side.
